When I see loons with their new hatchlings, I can't help but be almost overwhelmed by the complete parental devotion they convey. This becomes especially apparent if they face any real or perceived threat, the soothing wilderness song turns into a frantic call for help from the other mate. I chose however to portay a moment of calm, implementing raised textures to emphasize the "Family Circle".
